About Us

As well as managing some great club facilities, the club also runs occasional talks and practical sessions to share ideas, inspiration and knowledge – from the basics of taking a photograph through to post processing techniques, and other photography related topics.  We offer training and guidance on the use of our fully equipped photography studio, as well as other loan equipment and facilities which are available to members.

The club has a range of facilities and equipment for full members to use at no extra cost, including:

  • A very well-equipped photography studio
  • Loan studio lights and flash meter
  • Monitor and printer colour profiler
  • 35mm slide and negative film scanner
  • Educational DVDs
  • Logan mount cutter for framing images for display

Support and training is available for anyone using the facilities for the first time.

Membership

The club offers two levels of membership: Associate and Full.  Full membership allows members to use any of the club’s equipment and facilities for the year with no extra charges.  Associate membership (which is free) means you can, if you wish, be included general club communications about events or other photography based activities that may be of interest, and come along to any of the club talks for free as well.
