BTASC (BT AtLAS Social Club)

Formerly the BT Retired Staff Section (BTRSS)

The club has been developed to provide members with a varied range of informal, social activities in which they can maintain the friendships they made in their working life. Membership is a family matter; husband and wife are covered by the one subscription – and being realistic about retirement – the widows/widowers of some staff find an interest and friendship by continuing to support the activities of BTASC.

About Us

We were set up originally for ex BT staff who wanted some social interaction with ex colleagues way back in 1979! Now we are open to any retired (or approaching retirement) staff from any club linked to AtLAS. We hold three formal (not that formal) lunches a year with an additional Garden Party. We also arrange local visits to places of interest.

We have an informal lunch, open to all members, on the 3rd Thursday of each month currently at the Douglas Bader Public house at noon.

We publish a Quarterly Newsletter and our annual membership fee is a staggering £2.50 which includes partners! Beat that if you can!

£2.50 per year (covers partners and spouses.)
