Come and meet us …
We are a friendly local dive club based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We are branch number 32 of the British Sub- Aqua Club (BSAC) which is the national governing body for scuba diving and snorkelling in the UK.
Our club meets at Crown Pools swimming pool in Ipswich from 19:45 – 20:45 on Thursdays and afterwards we are most likely to be found at the Admiral Nelson Pub which is nearby. This is where the real organisation of trips and social events really happens!
Our experienced members organise dive trips in the UK as well as overseas so we are certain you will find a trip that will be of interest to you. We are focused on diving but also organise social events for members, friends and family to join in with and these range from meals out and walks to BBQs on the beach. We are always open to member’s suggestions.
We run diver training from complete novices through to advanced divers. We provide diving equipment as part of our novice-diver training package and we can also arrange a ‘suck-it-and-see’ session, if you would just like to try out diving in a pool.
It would be easy to fill this page with all of the things we can do but the best way to get to know us is to arrange a meeting and visit us at the pool.
- Secretary (membership enquiries) – Joe Crofts
- Diving Officer (diving and diver training enquiries) – Alan Beaumont
